Cloudflare can become the network edge in front of WordPress, handling DNS and selected traffic before requests reach the hosting origin.

What it can do

Depending on configuration and plan, Cloudflare can cache static assets, proxy traffic, terminate TLS and apply security/rate-limiting controls. Some hosting providers bundle or integrate Cloudflare features directly.

Cache carefully

Do not indiscriminately cache logged-in, cart or checkout pages. WordPress and WooCommerce need rules that distinguish public content from sessions with personalized state.

Hosting still matters

Requests that miss cache still reach the origin. Dynamic workloads therefore continue to depend on PHP, database, object cache and server capacity.
