Cloudways' 2026 documentation says WordPress and WooCommerce users can use the Cloudways Migrator for self-service migration or request expert-managed migration. Non-WordPress application migration can have different terms, so verify the current policy for the application type involved.

Before moving

• Create and verify a current backup.
• Inventory DNS records, cron jobs, mail flows and third-party integrations.
• Reduce DNS TTL ahead of the final cutover when appropriate.
• Create a staging copy and test forms, checkout, login and scheduled tasks.

After moving

Confirm canonical URLs, HTTPS, redirects, robots directives, transactional email, analytics, payment callbacks and caching. Keep the old environment available until the new site has completed a representative business cycle.
